This pamphlet was written and designed as a brief introduction to the design sub-discipline: critical design. It explores how critical design has historically been defined by it's practitioners—Fiona Raby, Anthony Dunne, Mat Malpass, et al.—and how their ideas might be adapted to a broader range of design thinking. The pamphlet was distributed throughout the East Carolina University School of Art and Design.
